Big Bird Inn Wawa, SureStay Collection by Best Western

Enjoyed the comfortable bed and pillows for a good nights sleep. The breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly. Location was good for a walk around town and along the waterfront.

My son and I were driving from Toronto to Edmonton and our first stop after a very long days drive was to be in Wawa. What better place to stay than at the Big Bird Inn! It was a quaint, comfy hotel with a very friendly staff and a nice room. The beds were super comfy and we really liked the electric fireplace that was a nice added touch and kept us nice and warm. Located very close to all of the nice restaurants and right on the Main Street in Wawa - and of course it was close to the big Canada Goose Statue!! It was a lovely stay and I highly recommend it!

The location was our first stop of a 4 day trip, to Calgary, and it was amazing, the young gentleman (cant remember his name but it was on Dec 27/24 aroumd 6pm) who helped us get checked in, was amazing, and was super friendly and even our 2 chiwawas loved him!. I wish I knew his name, (forgot) so the next time we stay, we can get checked in by him again!

Wonderful kind and helpful front desk receptionist on check in. Accommodated our pet, clean, large rooms. We got in a bit later and were able to get dinner at the Viking close by. Go to this restaurant, the women who work and run it and cook there are amazing, funny and so nice. Was a restful stop. Also great onsite parking for our large Uhaul which was nice.

Great place to stay, friendly and helpful staff, and clean rooms. There is lots of parking and as a bonus, outdoor plugs are available for those days you need to use your block heater.
